A Bespoke Dressing Room with a Central Island
This bespoke dressing room was designed to give the clients a calm, organised and generous space for everyday storage. Full-height shaker wardrobes line the room, providing a large amount of hanging and folded storage while keeping the overall appearance simple and architectural.
The cabinetry was made to suit the proportions of the room, with tall painted doors, traditional detailing and a fitted bench beneath the window. The result is a room that feels properly built-in rather than furnished, using the full height and width of the space without making it feel crowded.
A central island gives the room additional drawer storage and a practical surface for laying out clothes, folding items and preparing for the day. The granite worktop adds a more polished, durable surface, contrasting with the softness of the carpet and the painted cabinetry.
Internally, the wardrobes include warm timber linings and integrated lighting, making the storage feel clear, useful and considered. The finished dressing room is practical and refined, with a quiet made-to-measure quality that suits the house and the way the room is used.
