This kitchen was designed with a more traditional in-frame construction, giving the cabinetry a properly made, furniture-like quality. The doors sit within face frames rather than over the front of the units, creating a more detailed and considered finish that suits the character of the room.
The layout makes careful use of the available space, with fitted cupboards, drawers and tall storage arranged around the windows, cooker and working areas. Every section was made to feel practical for daily use while keeping the room calm, ordered and easy to move through.
Marble worktops and matching upstands give the kitchen a clean, refined surface, while the painted shaker doors, brass handles and simple moulded details keep the overall feel warm and traditional. The cabinetry was made to sit neatly with the architecture of the room, rather than feeling like a standard kitchen placed inside it.
The result is a bright, carefully finished kitchen with a quiet sense of permanence: practical, elegant and made to feel at home in a Rothley property.
